The SCC program provides each student a combination of technical, science and general education courses along with clinical practical experience. At the end of the two-year program, students are awarded an Associate of Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. In January, Paul Murka and Hilmo Hodzic were, again, invited to give a lecture about prosthetics to the class at the college. A few days later, the class came to the Fidelity Orthopedic office at 8514 North Main Street for a session about Prosthetic Gait Training.
Each year it is a pleasure to address the students; their enthusiasm and lively participation in the sessions “make our day”. Our thanks to Colleen Whittington, Barbara Branstiter and Mary Ann Stanley for asking us to be part of the program again this year. |
Sinclair Community College initiated a Physical Therapy Assistant program 27 years ago and Fidelity Orthopedic is always honored when invited to address the students.
