Hight Tea PartyTwo years ago in, in August 2005, we invited Agnes Curran, CP, a nationally known and respected prosthetist, to join us at Fidelity Orthopedic for a "Ladies' Day" clinic.

After spending several days seeing female patients, Agnes and Lu Stephan heard the same thing over and over. Those patients appreciated the opportunity to talk to another woman wearing a prosthesis. Most of our patients didn’t know any other amputees.

From that an idea was born...a forum for our patients to meet others women amputees.

High Tea PartyPaul Murka, President and CEO of Fidelity Orthopedic, suggested that we provide a social time for our female amputee patients to get to know other ladies who have shared the same challenges and successes, trials and triumphs. We all have so much to learn from each other.

So "High Tea at Fidelity" was held in the Fall of 2005. We didn't have tea, but we sure had a good time!

High Tea PartyJust a few weeks ago, on October 15 and 16 "High Tea II" was held at our North Main Street and Centerville locations. Again, we all have a great time. Our "Ladies" are the best - so giving and sharing of their experiences. A few of our friends have been wearing prostheses for over 50 years and some are just getting used to their first device. The comradery, laughter, and story-telling was wonderful.

Thank you Ladies for making our day!
